Conservative MP Bob Stewart has been charged with a racially aggravated public order offence following an incident outside a reception hosted by the Bahraini embassy.
The Metropolitan Police received an online report alleging verbal racial abuse on 18 December 2020.
Stewart was charged with two offences after the incident took place on 14 December 2020 outside the Foreign Office’s Lancaster House in central London.
