Cummings-Farage: An unholy alliance in the making?

Former Brexit foes Dominic Cummings and Nigel Farage shared a pre-Christmas dinner, sparking speculation of a shock alliance to disrupt Westminster’s status quo and reshape Britain’s political future.

Dominic Cummings and Nigel Farage—once bitter Brexit rivals—held a private dinner shortly before Christmas, igniting speculation of an unlikely alliance between the two men who traded public insults for years and now appear united by a shared disdain for the current political order.

Farage, who once branded the ex-chief adviser to Boris Johnson and mastermind of the Vote Leave campaign that made Brexit possible a “horrible nasty little man”, confirmed they discussed “the blob” and obstacles to governing effectively.

As for Cummings, he described the meeting as a “friendly chat” focused on “how to shake up” a broken system, calling the Tory party “disgraceful” and government “a sh*tshow.” Though he insists he won’t work for Farage, sources say he urged the Reform UK leader to develop credible policies and build a serious team.

Farage, aiming for a 2029 majority, reportedly “doesn’t want to wait until 2035” to lead. Their dinner may not signal just reconciliation but a potential political earthquake in the making.
